DIY Bright Blooms Spring Teardrop

Welcome the season in full color with our Bright Blooms Spring Teardrop, a vibrant creation designed by our talented floral designer, Susan. Bursting with bold, cheerful hues and playful patterns, this eye-catching swag captures the joyful essence of springtime in every detail. Layers of bright florals are beautifully paired with lively ribbons and textured greenery, creating a stunning piece that brings warmth and personality to any space. Whether you're refreshing your front door or adding a pop of seasonal charm indoors, this week’s featured design is the perfect way to celebrate the beauty and energy of spring.

Supplies needed:

  • Here is a look at everything that Susan used in this Teardrop
  • Susan started this Teardrop by first adding the Burlap Mesh to the Teardrop. She made one large loop that she placed off center at the top of the Teardrop and then she smaller loops down the front of the Teardrop. She used the branches of the Teardrop to tie down the Mesh.

  • Once the Mesh had been added Susan then worked on adding the Eucalyptus Garland. She weaved the garland in between the layers of Mesh and used the branches of the Teardrop to secure the Garland.

  • Next Susan moved onto tying the large Bow for the top of the Teardrop. She layered the ribbons by tying two loops per ribbon and leaving the tails longer. She secured the Bow with a Chenille Stem. She placed the Bow at the top of the Teardrop off center to the left.

  • Once the Bow had been placed Susan moved on to adding the florals throughout the Teardrop. She focused on the top right hand side at first; she cut each floral spray and bush into separate sections. She used Hot Glue to secure each piece.

  • Susan then moved onto adding a few of the florals to the left hand side of the Teardrop.

  • Susan then used the remaining Ribbon to tie a smaller Bow for the lower right hand side of the Teardrop. She tacked the Bow the same way she did for the top Bow and she used a Chenille Stem to secure the Bow.

  • Susan then finished off this Teardrop by adding the remaining florals to the lower part of the Teardrop.

  • With all of the components added, this Teardrop is ready to brighten up anyone's home throughout Spring and Summer.
