DIY Fall Sunflower Wood Bead Wreath

This week our floral designer Tim created a unique wreath using our simple Wood Bead Wreath. This design utilizes only 4 main components making it very easy to recreate or adjust to fit your personal taste. You can create one of your very own using the supplies and steps listed below.

Supplies needed:

  • To get started, make sure you have gathered all of the necessary supplies.

  • Tim began this design by cutting the Cedar Stems into multiple different sections. He created this Wreath by tying each piece onto the Wood Bead Wreath with Floral Wire. He opted for this method because the beads on the Wreath spin making Hot Glue not an option for securing the florals.

  • Next Tim cut apart both of the Sunflower Mixed Bushes into individual pieces and began wiring them onto the Wreath. He added florals to either side of the top of the Wreath; leaving a space in the middle for the bow to be placed.

  • Once Tim added some of the florals he then tied the Bow using the 1.5" Plaid Ribbon. He tied a 4 loop bow to place in the middle of the top of the Wreath. He also left the tails longer so that they would hang down into the middle of the Wreath.

  • Once the Bow had been added, Tim filed in around the Bow with the remaining florals. This created a full design that gave height and more texture to the piece.

  • After adding any of the additional florals you can come to a stopping point. When you are finished you will have a unique Fall Wreath to use throughout the Season.
