With bold colors, sparkling accents, and a touch of New Orleans flair, this unique piece is a must-have for anyone looking to add a little carnival magic to their home. Read on to learn more about this week's featured item and how it can elevate your celebrations! You can create one of your very own using the steps and supplies listed below

Supplies needed:

  • Before getting started, make sure to gather all of the necessary supplies
  • Tim started this Mardi Gras Teardrop by adding the 10" Mardi Gras Mesh to the teardrop base. He started at the top of the Teardrop and created loops going down the full length. He used the branches of the teardrop to tie the Mesh.

  • Next Tim created a four loop bow using both of the Mardi Gras ribbons. He layered the two ribbons on top one one another and then separated the loops after securing the bow with floral wire. He attached the bow to the top of the Teardrop and then left the tails long to drape them down the front of the teardrop.

  • Then Tim added the Fleur de Lis picks throughout the Teardrop. He trimmed the length off of each stem before adding them.

  • Next Tim cut apart the Mardi Gras Ball Picks are placed them throughout the Teardrop. He used hot glue to secure them to the teardrop.

  • Tim then cut apart the Mardi Gras Bay Leaf Spray into multiple sections. He added them throughout the teardrop along the edges and middle sections.

  • After the Bay Leaves Spray had been added, Tim then added the Mardi Gras Diamond Spray. He also cut this apart into multiple sections to distribute throughout the teardrop.

  • Tim then added the beaded sections of the Mardi Gras Glitter Floral Spray to the bottom of the teardrop and he added the leaves throughout the teardrop.

  • To finish off the teardrop Tim added the Glitter Fern Spray to the top of the teardrop.

  • Once all of the elements have been added you will have a gorgeous Teardrop to use throughout the Mardi Gras season. Laissez les bon temps rouler!
