Bursting with vibrant reds, bold blues, and rich greens, with a touch of white; this handcrafted arrangement beautifully captures the spirit of the season. This teardrop combines classic geraniums with 3 patriotic ribbons, making it a perfect statement piece for Memorial Day, Independence Day, or any time you want to show your American pride.

Supplies needed:
- (1) 32" Evergreen Teardrop
- (3) 18" Red Geranium Floral Bush
- (2) 15" Australian Fern Greenery Bush
- (2) 2.5" Red Linen Spring Ribbon
- (2) 1.5" Navy Plaid Ribbon
- (2) 1.5" Natural Burlap Ribbon
- Wire Cutters
- Scissors
- Hot Glue
- Before getting started, make sure you have gathered all of the necessary supplies
- Susan started this design by first tying the Bow for the top of the Teardrop. She used one roll of each of the ribbons. She first tied a small 4 loop bow out of the Navy Plaid Ribbon, then she tied another 4 loop bow out of the Burlap Ribbon and then she tied a 4 loop bow out of the 2.5" Red Linen Ribbon. She stacked all of these together and left the tails long enough to hang down the length of the Teardrop. She secured the bow with floral wire and then used that to attach it to the top of the Teardrop. She draped the tails down the teardrop and created loops on either side using floral wire to secure them.

- Once the Bow had been attached she worked on adding the Geraniums. She cut each bush into individual pieces. She first added them to the top of the Teardrop and then worked her way down into the body. She used hot glue to secure each stem.
- After the Geraniums had been added Susan moved onto adding the Australian Fern Greenery. She also cut both of these into individual pieces and then placed them throughout the Teardrop.
- Susan then tied two more smaller stacked bows to place on either side of the Teardrop. She did this to add more fullness and texture to the bottom of the Teardrop.
- Once those two bows had been added, Susan moved on to filling in the bottom section of the Teardrop. She added more Geraniums and Fern pieces. She also cut three strips of the remaining Ribbon to use as tails.
- Once you have finished adding all of the components you can come to a stopping point. You will have a gorgeous Teardrop that you can use throughout the Summer months.
