DIY Autumn Glow Grapevine Wreath

This week on our DIY Blog, our talented floral designer Susan has captured the warm beauty of the season with her Autumn Glow Grapevine Wreath. Bursting with vibrant sunflowers, charming mini pumpkins, and rich fall foliage, this design perfectly blends rustic textures with festive elegance. Finished with eye-catching golden and patterned bows, it’s a welcoming statement piece that radiates the cozy glow of autumn. Whether hung on your front door or displayed indoors, this wreath brings the spirit of fall right into your home.

Supplies needed:

  • Before getting started make sure you have gathered all of the necessary supplies
  • Susan began this Wreath by first tying the large bow at the top of the Wreath. She layered each of the ribbons, tying a couple of loops from each one and then moving onto the next. She also layered in single strips of tails in between some of the layers. She secured the Bow with a Chenille Stem and then fluffed the loops out on the Bow. Then she used the same Chenille Stem to tie the Bow to the top of the Wreath.

  • Once the Bow had been added to the top of the Wreath Susan began creating a base layer of Greenery behind that Bow. She used both Greenery stems, both Leaves Stems and a few sprigs of the Gold Willow Spray to create the base layer. She cut each stem into individual pieces and then used Hot Glue to secure them onto the Wreath.

  • After the base layer behind the Bow had been finished Susan began tying a second Bow with the remaining Ribbon for the bottom of the Wreath. She layered the ribbons again in a similar fashion and secured the Bow using another Chenille Stem. She placed this bow a little off center on the right hand lower portion of the Wreath.

  • Next Susan added pieces of the Gold Eucalyptus Bush to the top of the Wreath. This added height and texture to the top of the Wreath.

  • Susan then added Greenery around and behind the lower Bow.

  • Susan then moved onto adding the Velvet Pumpkins and the Mixed Fall Floral Bush. She cut the Pumpkins into separate pieces; placing one stem on the left hand side of the Wreath coming out from under the top Bow. She placed the others in the lower section of the Wreath. She also cut the Mixed Fall Floral Bush apart into individual stems. These pieces were placed in and around the lower Bow.

  • Susan wrapped up this Wreath by adding a few finishing pieces of the Gold Willow to the bottom section of the Wreath.

  • Once this Wreath is complete you will have gorgeous piece to welcome friends and family throughout the Fall season.
