DIY Happy Halloween Grapevine Wreath

Get ready to welcome spooky season in style! 🎃 For this week’s DIY Blog, our talented floral designer Susan has crafted a Happy Halloween Grapevine Wreath that’s equal parts festive and fun. Featuring bold seasonal colors, playful accents, and that perfect touch of Halloween charm, this wreath is sure to make your front door the talk of the neighborhood. Follow along as we share how you can create your very own hauntingly delightful masterpiece at home!

Supplies needed:

  • Before getting started, make sure you have gathered all the necessary supplies. You can experiment with any Halloween Sign, Floral Accents or Ribbon that you may have on hand to create a Wreath that matches your existing Halloween Decor.
  • Susan started this Halloween Wreath by first attaching the Halloween Sign to the top of the Wreath using a piece of floral wire. She looped the floral wire through the ribbon hanger on the sign and then tied the wire to the Wreath. She then cut a few pieces of the Maple Garland off to add in and around the sign at the top of the Wreath. She secured the pieces of Maple Leaves with Hot Glue on the end of each piece.

  • After the Sign and a few Leaves were added Susan moved on to creating the large Bow for the Wreath. She layered the individual ribbons creating two loops per ribbon and then moving onto the next. She left some of the tails longer and kept some shorter to create alternating lengths. She also worked in the same ribbons more than once to create the large designer bow look. She secured the bow with a Chenille Stem and then tied it onto the Wreath in the bottom left hand corner.

  • Once the Bow was added Susan focused on adding greenery and accents to the top of the Wreath. She alternated between adding the Halloween Accent Florals and the two different types of Greenery. The Cedar sprays & Maidenhair Fern Bush she cut into individual pieces to add throughout the top. She secured each piece with Hot Glue on the end of the stem.

  • Once the top was finished Susan focused on adding the same Greenery, Leaves and Halloween Florals to the bottom of the Wreath. She added these around and behind the Bow to add fullness.

  • Once all of the components have been added you will have a gorgeously spooky Halloween wreath to use throughout the Halloween season.
