DIY Blush & Bashful Grapevine Wreath

This week our floral designer Tim created this stunning Blush & Bashful Grapevine Wreath; otherwise known as pink and pink. Tim used a few cabbage rose stems and a variety of greenery to bring this design together. It is perfect for any front door all Spring & Summer long or possibly a baby wreath, decor for a bridal shower, etc. The options are endless. You can create one of your very own using the steps and supplies listed below.

Supplies needed:

  • The first thing that you will need to do is gather all of the necessary supplies. Feel free to adjust any of the colors that we used to best fit your personal preference.

  • Tim started by adding the 35" Eucalyptus Spray to the bottom of the wreath. He cut all of the stem off and then used hot glue to secure the spray to the wreath.

  • Tim continued to build the base of the design by layering in the other greenery that had been chosen. He used the Silver Dollar Eucalyptus and the Lamb's Ear. He cut each of these apart and spread them out throughout the base of the wreath.

  • Next Tim began adding the Cabbage Roses to the wreath. He cut each stem into two sections and placed them throughout the wreath. He alternated the colors to spread everything out evenly. He added hot glue to the end of each stem to help secure it to the wreath.

  • To add a little height and texture Tim used the Green filler bush on either side of the wreath. He cut the stems into individual sections and placed them on either side of the wreath.

  • To add a little more pink to the wreath, Tim used the Pink Gypsophila Spray. He cut these into individual sections and placed them throughout the wreath using hot glue to secure the pieces.

  • Tim also added the White Meadow Spray throughout the wreath to bring in pops of white. He also cut this apart into individual sections.

  • When you have added all of your components you can come to a stopping point. Any additional materials that you may have leftover can be worked in wherever you see a hole or if you would like a fuller wreath. We hope that you will enjoy this wreath for many years to come!
