DIY Blushing Hearts Rose Grapevine Wreath

This week on the blog, we’re excited to showcase the Blushing Hearts Rose Grapevine Wreath, beautifully designed by our talented floral designer, Clare. Crafted on a natural grapevine base, this Valentine-inspired wreath features lush pink roses, rich red rosebuds, and vibrant greenery, all tied together with a cheerful pink bow for the perfect finishing touch. Romantic yet welcoming, this handcrafted design is a lovely way to add a pop of seasonal charm to your front door or indoor décor while celebrating the sweetness of Valentine’s Day.

Supplies needed:

  • Here's a look at everything that was used in this Wreath.
  • Clare began this Wreath by first tying the Bow. She started with the 1.5" Red Flat Glitter Ribbon and tied four loops leaving the tails a little long. She then stacked the 2.5" Fuchsia Pink Linen Ribbon behind the Red Flat Glitter and then ties 4 more loops. She also left the tails a little long to hang down the front of the Wreath. She secured the Bow with a Chenille Stem and then used that same Chenille Stem to tie the Bow to the Wreath.

  • Once the Bow was secure Clare began to create the foundation for the florals by adding Greenery to the left hand side of the Wreath. She cut each of the stems off of the Ficus Bush and added them up and down the Wreath. She used Hot Glue to secure each stem into the Wreath. She also did the same thing with the Seed Grass Bush.

  • When the majority of the Greenery had been added Clare then moved on to adding the Florals. She started with the Fuchsia Rose Bush by cutting those apart into individual stems.

  • Once the first set of Fuchsia Roses had been added Clare then added the Mini Red Ranunculus Bushes. She left these intact and spread the stems apart to give them some separation in the Wreath. She added Hot Glue to each of the Bushes to help secure them into the Wreath.

  • Next Clare began to add in pieces of the White Valerian Stem throughout the Wreath. She cut these into separate sections before adding them.

  • Clare then continued to fill in the rest of the Wreath with the remaining florals. Filling any holes that she may have found throughout the Wreath.

  • Once all of the Florals had been added we had a gorgeous Wreath that could be used throughout the Valentine's season and also well into Spring.
