Supplies needed:

  • Here is a look at everything that was used to create this Wreath.

  • Emily got started with this Wreath by first layering the striped Mesh on top of the Purple Mesh. She used the attached Chenille Stems on the Work Form to tie the Mesh onto the frame. She worked her way around the Work Form creating a loop between each set of Chenille Stems. When the inner ring was finished she moved onto the outer ring until the Work Form was completely covered in Mesh.
  • Once all of the Mesh had been added to the Work Form Emily moved onto adding the Sign to the middle of the Wreath. She used floral wire to attach the sign to the Work Form; Chenille Stems would also work just fine for this step too.

  • After the Sign had been added Emily began adding the to Mardi Gras Mesh Tubing Picks to the Wreath. She added one to the upper right hand corner of the Sign and then the other to the lower left hand corner of the Sign. She used Hot Glue to secure both of them.

  • Next Emily tied the Bow for the Wreath. She started by tying a two loop Bow out of the 1.5" Ribbon and then she added on the 2.5" Ribbon. She tied an additional 2 loop Bow with that Ribbon. She left the tails a little longer so that they would hang down the Wreath some. Once the Bow was secured with a Chenille Stem she attached it to the Wreath near the upper left hand corner of the Wreath.

  • Then to finish off the Wreath Emily added the Tinsel Fleur de Lis Pick to the upper right hand corner of the Wreath. She secured it using Hot glue.

  • When all the components were added we had a festive and simple Mardi Gras Wreath! This Wreath would be perfect to use inside or outside your home.
