DIY Harvest Plaid Pumpkin Arrangement

Bring the warmth and charm of the autumn harvest into your home with our Harvest Plaid Pumpkin Arrangement! This beautiful fall design combines rustic plaid pumpkins with rich autumn foliage, wheat, berries, and textured harvest accents, all finished with a gorgeous mix of coordinating ribbons. Full of warm seasonal color and country-inspired style, this arrangement is the perfect way to welcome fall and add a cozy touch to any room, entryway, or gathering space. Susan used a variety of Fall florals and Ribbon to create this stunning arrangement. Follow along below to see how she made it and to re-create this on your own.

Supplies needed:

  • Here is a look at everything that was used in this Arrangement.
  • Susan started this Arrangement by first fluffing out the Swag so that all of the branches were sticking up. Then she cut a few pieces of the Maple Leaf Garland off of the main Garland and added those to the Swag using Hot Glue.

  • Next Susan glued the two Plaid Pumpkins into the Swag. She placed them so that they were facing away from each other in the middle of the Swag.

  • Once the Pumpkins were placed she started to add in the various florals. She cut each of them into separate sections and used Hot Glue to secure each piece to the Swag. She worked her way down all sides of the Swag adding pieces as she went.

  • Next Susan worked on the first of 4 Bows for this Arrangement. She tied two larger Bows and then two smaller Bows for this Arrangement out of the chosen Ribbons. She began with the smallest of the Ribbons and then layered in each additional Ribbon. She secure the Bow with a Chenille Stem.

  • Susan then continued to fill in the Arrangement with the Florals; using separate pieces and placing them throughout the Swag. Again, she secured each piece with Hot Glue on the end of the stem.

  • Now Susan tied the two smaller Bows for the Arrangement. She made a single loop out of each Ribbon and then secured them with a Chenille Stem. She placed these on opposite from each other and the larger Bows.

  • Next Susan made the second larger Bow for the Arrangement. She repeated the steps from the first Bow and then secured it with a Chenille Stem.

  • Susan then finished up this Arrangement by adding the finals florals throughout.

  • Whether you’re decorating for a cozy family gathering or simply want to bring a touch of autumn indoors, the Harvest Plaid Pumpkin Arrangement is a beautiful way to celebrate the season. With its rich fall colors, rustic textures, and charming plaid pumpkins, this arrangement is sure to make a statement wherever it’s displayed.
