DIY Patriotic Summer Memorial Saddle

You can create one of your very own by following the steps listed below.
Supplies needed:
- (1) Saddle Frame
- (1) Styrofoam Block
- (4) Fall Sunflower Floral Bush
- (4) 24" Red Fabric Flowers, Leaves & Berries Spray
- (2) 17" Patriotic Daisy Bush
- (3) Silk Leather Leaf Bush
- Wire Cutters
- Hot Glue
- Before getting started make sure you have gathered all of the necessary supplies
- Susan began this Memorial Saddle by first attaching the Styrofoam to the Saddle frame. She added Hot Glue to each of the prongs and then pushed the Styrofoam onto the prongs. She then added the base of Leather Leaf Fern to the Styrofoam. She trimmed the length off of the Leather Leaf slightly and then began adding pieces around the top and sides.
- Once the base layer of Leather Leaf Ferns had been added Susan moved onto adding the Sunflowers. She cut each bush into separate pieces and then covered the top and sides of the Saddle with them. She spaced them out across the whole of the Saddle and used Hot Glue on the end of each stem to help secure it into the Styrofoam.
- Once all of the Sunflowers had been added, Susan moved onto to adding the Red Fabric Flowers & Berries. She cut these apart into 3 different sections and then added them throughout the Saddle.
- Lastly, Susan cut apart the Patriotic Daisies Bush into separate sections. She also added these throughout the Saddle.
- When you have finished adding all of the florals you will have a gorgeous Memorial Saddle to honor a loved one.
