DIY Star-Spangled Floral Patriotic Grapevine Wreath

Supplies needed:
- (1) 18" Oval Grapevine Wreath
- (3) Red Geranium Bush
- (2) Blue Hydrangea Spring Floral Bush
- (2) Cream Cabbage Rose Stem
- (4) 27" Ficus Spray Spring Floral Bush
- (2) Mixed Greenery Bush
- (2) 2.5" Patriotic Stars & Stripes Ribbon
- (2) 2.5" Patriotic Pleated Flag Bunting Ribbon
- (2) 2.5" Dusty Blue Hydrangeas Ribbon
- Wire Cutters
- Scissors
- Hot Glue
- Chenille Stems/Floral Wire
- Here's a look at all of the supplies used in this Wreath.
- Susan got started with this Wreath by first tying a large Bow for the top of the Wreath. She tied 2 loops on each side of the Bow, using each Ribbon. She left the tails longer and then secured the Bow with a Chenille Stem. She placed the Bow using the same Chenille Stem at the upper left hand corner of the Wreath.
- After the Bow had been added to the Wreath Susan started layering in the two Greenery choices in and around the Bow. She cut each Greenery into individual pieces and used Hot Glue to secure each piece.
- Next Susan began to alternate the Blue Hydrangeas, Red Geraniums and White Roses throughout the top of the Wreath. She used Hot Glue to secure each piece.
- Next Susan worked on a second Bow for the Bottom of the Wreath. She used the same three ribbons as were used above and she tied two loops per ribbon. She left the tails longer and secured this Bow with a Chenille Stem. She placed this Bow on the lower right hand corner of the Wreath.
- After the second Bow was added Susan began adding the Greenery in and around the Bow. She also started layering in the florals as well; securing everything with hot glue on the end of each stem.
- With every ribbon perfectly placed and each bloom thoughtfully arranged, Susan’s design truly comes to life in this finished piece.
