DIY Midnight Nativity Elegance Grapevine Wreath

This week, our talented floral designer Susan brings a touch of timeless beauty to the season with her Midnight Nativity Elegance Grapevine Wreath. Built on a classic grapevine base, this stunning creation blends frosted evergreens, rich textures, and deep midnight hues to frame a serene nativity scene at the heart of the design. The result is a wreath that captures both the peacefulness and the wonder of Christmas night. Join us as Susan walks you through how she crafted this inspiring piece and how you can recreate its elegant, faith-filled charm for your own home.

Supplies needed:

  • Here's a look at everything that Susan used in this Wreath.
  • Susan started this Wreath by first attaching the Nativity Wood Sign to the Wreath. She used a piece of floral wire to secure the sign.

  • Once the Nativity sign was attached Susan added the Flocked Norfolk Swag to the the top of the Wreath. She also used floral wire to attach this Swag to the Wreath. If you would like to use something smaller than the Swag you most definitely can; just make sure to use enough greenery to fill out the top of the Wreath.

  • Susan then moved on to adding the the accent florals to the top of the Wreath. She used the Dark Green Cedar, the Navy Blue Maidenhair and the Gold Glitter Cedar sprays. She cut each of these into individual pieces and then placed them throughout the top of the Wreath. She used Hot Glue to secure each stem.

  • Once the accent florals were placed Susan began adding more of the Flocked Noble Pine Bush to the top of the Wreath. She cut pieces off of the Bush and added them to the Wreath.

  • When the top of the Wreath was complete, Susan tied the Bow for the bottom of the Wreath. She layered the 4 ribbons into a stacked bow. She started with two loops of the White & Gold Vine Embossed Ribbon, then added in the Navy Velvet Ribbon, next she used the Hunter Green Confetti Ribbon and then ended with the Gold Flat Glitter Ribbon. She secured the bow with a Chenille Stem. Once the Bow was fluffed out she attached it to the bottom of the Wreath.

  • Once the Bow was added to the bottom of the Wreath, Susan began adding the florals in and around the Bow. She cut each of the Stems to make individual pieces and added them throughout the bottom.

  • When you are finished adding the florals to the bottom you will have a gorgeous Christmas Wreath to use throughout the Holiday season.
