Supplies needed:
- (1) 7" Square Mocha Container
- (1) Styrofoam Block
- (2) 30" White Magnolia Spray
- (1) 13" Curly Moss Floral Spray
- (1) 22" Mixed Grass Bush
- (1) 24" Poppy Pods Greenery Bush
- (1) Light Green Mixed Filler Bush
- Wire Cutters
- Knife
- Hot Glue
- To begin, gather all of your supplies. Remember, that you can use any combination of flowers and greenery that you prefer. We have Magnolias as the focal point with different types of greenery.
- To get started, you will want to trim the Styrofoam block to fit inside the container. We have done this by stacking two pieces on top of another. You will want to glue the first piece into the bottom of the container and then glue the second piece ontop of the first. This will give you a firm and solid base to start with.
- Next, you will trim the majority of the length off of the Poppy Pods Greenery Bush or one type of the greenery you have chosen to use. Then firmly stick the bottom of the bush into the center of the styrofoam. Remember, to add hot glue to the end of every piece before placing it into the styrofoam.
- After the greenery has been placed, you will want to spread and fluff the bush so that it is spread out some around the container.
- Next, we have cut our second type of greenery apart into individual pieces to place throughout the arrangement. You will be using these to fill in around the first greenery bush.
- Once you are happy with the amount of greenery that has been added you will want to cut off the end of the Magnolia stems. We have cut ours just below where the stems meet and then taper down.
- You will add hot glue to the end of your stem and then stick the stem into the styrofoam. We have placed our in the right front quadrant of the arrangement
- The next Magnolia stem is cut longer than the first so that it can be placed in the center of the arrangement with the flowers creating a line of flowers with the other Magnolias stem.
- Next we will add interest and texture to the arrangement by adding the Moss Curly Stem. We have placed this amongst the greenery on the left hand side of the arrangement.
- Finally we will had height to the arrangement with the Light Green Filler Bush. You can use as much or as little of this Filler Bush as you would like. We have used a couple of sprigs off of the bush and kept them long. These have been placed in the back of the arrangement.
- You can continue to add more greenery as you see fit and adjust the placement of things. Once you are happy with the placement you will be left with a stunning arrangement that is sure to wow guests!
